A Bookkeeper Who's Also an Enrolled Agent — Phoenix, AZ
Most bookkeepers can't represent you before the IRS. If a notice shows up or an audit starts, they hand you off to someone who has never seen your books. I'm an Enrolled Agent — a credential issued by the U.S. Treasury that federally authorizes me to represent taxpayers before the IRS in any state. So the same person who keeps your books can also stand between you and the IRS.
- Monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statements from $250/mo
- Tax planning year-round, not a scramble in April
- Intuit Platinum ProAdvisor — QuickBooks setup, cleanup, or takeover
- Construction, real estate investors, and skilled trades a specialty
Talk to me about your books
Four questions. I'll call you within one business day — no sales script, just a straight conversation.
Enrolled Agent — admitted to practice before the IRS
Intuit Platinum ProAdvisor
One person for your books and your taxes
A free consultation is enough to tell you which plan fits and what it costs.
How working together starts
Three steps, and you'll know the price before anything begins.
A free consultation
I ask about your business, what your books look like right now, and what's actually causing you trouble — whether that's a filing deadline, a lender asking for statements, or just never knowing what the business made last month.
I recommend a plan
I tell you which tier fits and why, and if your books need cleanup before monthly work can start, I quote that separately. You get the number up front. No packages you don't need.
I take it from there
I get read-only access to your accounts, take over or set up QuickBooks, and send you clean statements every month. You get one person who knows your books and can also handle the IRS if it ever comes to that.

Common questions
What's included monthly?
Every plan includes categorizing your transactions, reconciling your bank and credit card accounts each month, maintaining the general ledger, and giving you a profit and loss statement and balance sheet you can actually read. Higher tiers add QuickBooks management, tax planning and forecasting, payroll, and on-demand strategy call access. The goal is the same at every level: you always know where the business stands, and nothing is a scramble at tax time.
Do you work with my industry?
I specialize in construction, real estate investors, and skilled trades, because those businesses have job costing, retention, draw schedules, and equipment questions that general bookkeepers often get wrong. I also work with professional services, consultants, retail and e-commerce, healthcare, and food and beverage. If your books need something unusual, like IOLTA trust accounting or project-level tracking, tell me on the first call and I'll say plainly whether I'm the right fit.
Do you do my taxes too?
Yes. Tax returns are prepared through Double D Tax Services, Inc., and because I'm an Enrolled Agent I also handle the planning that happens long before filing season: quarterly estimates, entity questions, and finding deductions while there's still time to act on them. It also means one person understands both your books and your return, so nothing gets lost being handed between a bookkeeper and a separate tax preparer.
What software do you use?
QuickBooks, Online or Desktop. I'm an Intuit Platinum ProAdvisor, which is Intuit's top certification tier, so I can set a file up from scratch, repair one that was built badly, or take over the one you already have. If you're on Xero, FreshBooks, Wave, or spreadsheets today, I'll either work with it or migrate you, and I'll tell you which one is genuinely worth doing rather than just charging you for the move.
How do we get started?
Send the short form on this page or call (602) 694-9930. It starts with a free consultation where I look at your current books and what you need, then I recommend a tier and quote any catch-up work separately if your books need cleanup first. After that, I get read-only access to your accounts and take it from there. No long-term contract is required.
